This spring, La Follette students had several opportunities to learn from Wisconsin state government representatives from the legislative and executive branches.
Our students have been busy this semester receiving fellowships, starting new positions, having their work featured around campus and beyond, and even running for local office.
Last fall, the UW–Madison Institute for Research on Poverty hired several undergraduate students for internships that allow them to build policy research and communications skills.
In December, 20 students graduated with certificates—12 in public policy and 8 in health policy.
