As the president of the Campus Area Neighborhood Association, current MPA-MPH student Eli Tsarovsky has worked to open up conversations in Madison on licensing and affordable housing.
Internships and studies completed internationally allow students to learn from other cultures and bring those experiences back with them to be applied in the classroom and their future careers.
La Follette School students researched policy solutions to would reduce the urban heat island effect in the City of La Crosse.
Students concluded their graduate education this spring by completing projects addressing real-world challenges on behalf of clients from the public, non-governmental, and private sectors.
Sixteen undergraduate students were given an exciting opportunity this spring during La Follette’s Workshop in Health Policy when they were able to research and propose recommendations for policy questions crafted by Wisconsin state legislators.
On Sunday, May 14, the La Follette School’s master’s degree graduates, including 37 MPA students and 13 MIPA students, celebrated their graduation in the Wisconsin Capitol’s Assembly Chamber.
La Follette School students showed that universal child savings accounts could have significant benefits for the state when they conducted the first statewide cost-benefit analysis of the idea.
With graduation around the corner, many La Follette School students are planning exciting next steps.
