Students found the WisCaregiver Careers program has a present value of net benefits of $5.77 million over the 26-month period analyzed. The program promotes certified nursing assistant (CNA) employment in nursing homes by providing reimbursement for CNA training and testing costs for up to 500 program participants and partnering with nursing homes that agree to provide a $500 sign-on or retention bonus to hirees.
