La Follette students and faculty present their research at state capitol

Last week, La Follette students and faculty presented their research to policymakers as part of the UW–Madison Day at the Capitol. Two teams of second-year MPA students conducted cost-benefit analyses for real-world clients and shared their research during a poster session. First-year MPA student, Angela Maloney, presented a poster detailing the policy brief she completed as a Roosevelt Institute Emerging Fellow last year. Finally, as part of the day’s events advocating for UW–Madison, Assistant Professor Mariel Barnes shared early findings from Wisconsin’s Domestic Violence Housing First pilot program.
