PA 974 Nonprofit Leadership and Management

This course focuses on the skills and knowledge necessary to lead organizations successfully. Students will explore their own leadership strengths, effective management approaches, and strategies that create work environments that are diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Nonprofit accountability, governance, and revenue generation will be covered along with techniques for strategic planning and building community engagement. We will also consider how collaborations, partnerships, mergers, advocacy and public policy can help organizations deliver on their mission impact.
