What drew you to your position?

I was drawn to the LFS Student Ambassador position because I felt that my skill set aligned well with the role. I enjoy being a resource and mentor for others, and I was excited by the opportunity to contribute to the La Follette School community. The position allows me to connect with other students, share my experiences, and continue developing my own skills along the way.

What do you enjoy most about working with La Follette students or staff?

I enjoy building relationships with the La Follette School students and staff members. This not only helps me grow in the work that I do, but also allows me to learn from different perspectives and lived experiences. I really value the friendly and supportive environment that I am a part of.

What advice would you give to prospective La Follette School student employees?

My advice to prospective LFS student employees is not to let self-doubt hold you back, especially when stepping into a new environment. One thing I’ve learned is the importance of surrounding yourself with people you aspire to be like and learning from those around you. Sometimes, you have to take a leap of faith, knowing that your intentions are genuine, and having the confidence that you will find your way. I think this lesson applies to many areas of life, especially when taking on new opportunities and stepping outside of your comfort zone.

What do you like to do with your freetime?

In my free time, I enjoy running, working out, hiking, exploring cities and nature, and indulging in other forms of self-care.
