The power of the badger network — students and alumni unite for Eat & Greet series

This fall, the La Follette School of Public Affairs’ expanding Eat & Greet Series explored careers in public service and education. Three networking events focused on state government, local government, and higher education. Sponsored by Ascendium Education Group, the series connects students with alumni working across these sectors to share insights, mentorship, and opportunities.

It’s great to see so many students interested in connecting with alumni and considering careers working in or with the Legislature,” said Pugh, who works as a team supervisor for the Legislative Fiscal Bureau.

The La Follette team is great at equipping us to effectively communicate with professionals in our field and then creating spaces for us to make connections,”  Spahn said.
