Where our 2025 graduates work

Data shows where students who earned one of our master’s degrees in 2025 found work six months after graduating.
Of 42 La Follette School 2025 Master of Public Affairs (MPA) and Master of International Public Affairs (MIPA) graduates, 30 entered the workforce immediately following graduation, six sought additional degrees, three chose to delay entering the workforce until 2026, and three students did not respond to our survey. Of those that responded, 100% (30 out of 30 graduates) reported that they had secured employment in their fields by December 2025.
Of those who secured employment, 93% of graduates found jobs focused on domestic policy and management and 7% found jobs focused on international policy and management.

Class of 2024 career outcomes
Of 43 La Follette School 2024 Master of Public Affairs (MPA) and Master of International Public Affairs (MIPA) graduates, 29 entered the workforce, 11 sought additional degrees, and one alum did not respond to our survey. Of those who responded, 94% (29 out of 31 graduates) reported that they had secured employment in their fields by December 2024.
Of those who secured employment, 83% of graduates found jobs focused on domestic policy and management and 17% found jobs focused on international policy and management.

Of those entering the workforce, 97.5% (39 out of 40 graduates) reported that they had secured employment in their fields by December 2023.
Of those who secured employment, 95% of graduates found jobs focused on domestic policy and management and 5% found jobs focused on international policy and management.
