About
Matthew Kavanagh, PhD, is a political scientist working at the intersection of law, political economy, and global health. He is the Director of Georgetown University’s Center for Global Health Policy & Politics. Dr. Kavanagh has served at the United Nations and as head of policy for several non-governmental organizations in the US and Southern Africa. He has presented his research before the G20 Ministers of Health, U.S. Congress, European Parliament, and been interviewed by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, BBC, and Science.
