Join us for a visit to Governor Tony Evers’ office in the Wisconsin State Capitol building.
This event is sold out.
About the event
We will be taking 30 La Follette graduate students to visit the Governor’s Office to gain firsthand insight into the policymaking process, learn about constituent services, and experience the fast-paced environment of a high-level executive office. With limited space, priority will be given to La Follette graduate students who were unable to attend last year. Please come prepared with a question or two in order to participate in a roundtable discussion with office staff!
Following the meeting with the Governor’s Office, we will be offering an optional State Capitol tour. Students interested in attending should meet on the ground floor of the Rotunda. The tour will begin at 3 p.m., concluding in the Assembly Parlor at 3:30 p.m., where we will be hosting our State Capitol Eat & Greet from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
