Cost-Benefit Analysis Reports

In the Cost-Benefit Analysis course (PA 881), students work with real-world clients in the public, non-governmental, and private sectors to conduct a cost-benefit analysis and produce a report.

Statewide Expansion of Treatment Alternatives to Incarceration in Wisconsin: A Cost Benefit Analysis

The authors predict the costs and benefits of expanding programs that provide drug and alcohol treatment and diversion from incarceration for non-violent criminal offenders in Wisconsin, which can alleviate overcrowding in corrections facilities and ease budget constraints.
