Why an MPA?
My experience working in a municipality for six years and the desire to improve the public sector that I saw there made me want to pursue an MPA.
Why the La Follette School?
The Wisconsin Idea and the city drew me to La Follette. Madison is a great place to live for families.

It allows a lot of flexibility to pursue an individual path with a lot of support from faculty and staff.
Volunteer activities
My family and I serve food at the Catholic Multicultural Center every other week, and I am part of the pastoral council at Our Lady Queen of Peace parish. It is awesome to give back to society.
Mentorship
David Weimer and Steve Kulig helped me with letters of recommendation while several other staff members helped me to polish my application letters.
