While completing his La Follette degree, John O’Malley (MIPA '23) partnered with UW–Madison's UniverCity Alliance on a project that inspired a new Homestead Credit Incentive program.
Over the summer, two La Follette School MIPA students traveled to Geneva, Switzerland to study in an international policymaking program.
La Follette School master's degree students met with Governor Evers’ staff at the Wisconsin State Capitol building to gain insights into the inner workings of the Governor’s office and how their degrees influence their day-to-day work.
Since 2021, Constance Chucholowski (MIPA ’14) has served as chair of the organization in Germany, where she currently works as the founder and managing director at a public affairs firm.

La Follette graduate students evaluate The International Rescue Committee’s financial capability program and its effectiveness in helping humanitarian migrants navigate the U.S. financial system.
Students' spring capstone projects addressed real-world challenges on behalf of clients including NGOs, the private sector, and both federal and state agencies.
Forty-six master's students received La Follette degrees and 166 students graduated with certificates in public policy or health policy in May.
