Dinner and Dialogue Series: Big Issues, Bold Conversations – AI Technology & Social Media

Sonata Room 241C, Gordon Commons

About

What should governments do about AI technologies? Should major online platforms use AI tools to detect and restrict viral election content? Should developers and platforms face liability when chatbots and algorithms lead to real-world psychological or financial harm?

Join fellow students for a catered dinner and an evening of lively, student-led discussions exploring some of today’s most pressing public policy questions. Share your perspective, challenge your assumptions, and connect with others who care about public issues.

No experience or background necessary, just curiosity and a willingness to engage. Space is limited, so reserve your spot!

Who can attend?

Any student interested in deepening their understanding of the conundrums our local, state and national governments are facing.
