About
Mary Davis Michaud joined the La Follette School in October 2020 to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in health policy, advise undergraduate students, and develop new curricula. She spent more than two decades in program management, program evaluation, and leadership positions in health administration and public health at the local, state, and national levels.
Mary received her bachelor’s degree from UW–Madison, where she received one of the first Hilldale Undergraduate Research Fellowships and was UW–Madison’s first Henry Luce Scholar in Asia. She completed her Master of Public Policy Studies and Certificate in Health Administration at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy Studies. Locally, she serves on the Board of Directors for RISE Wisconsin. Nationally, she serves on the advisory board for Green Schoolyards America.
