Aumni Network

2008 alum Saul Wolf of the World Council of Credit Unions will discuss "Engaging Policy in Non-Profit Arenas" at a La Follette School seminar on Tuesday, April 5, from noon to 1 p.m. in the La Follette School's conference room.

Kristen Joiner of SustainDane also will present.

Saul Wolf connects quality, low-cost money transfer firms to credit unions, financial cooperatives and other micro-finance entities as remittances manager at the World Council of Credit Unions. He accomplishes this by providing the technology, representation and knowledge necessary to develop sustainable business relationships.

The World Council of Credit Unions is the global trade association and development agency for credit unions worldwide and has offered remittance products since 2001. WOCCU's remittance networks in nine countries (primarily in Latin America) collectively send and pay out approximately $400 million in remittances annually.

Wolf a holds a 2008 dual degree in public affairs and law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, in addition to a bachelor of arts in Spanish and philosophy from Saint John's University. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Bar.
