Dan Marlin (MPA ’14) and Anna Edelstein were married July 29 in Milwaukee. Marlin is a researcher and program evaluator with the Wisconsin Evaluation Collaborative at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research at UW–Madison, and Edelstein is a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors. Steph Mabrey (MPA ’14) was in the bridal party, and Steve Kulig (MPA ’14) was an usher.
Originally from the Pittsburgh, PA area, Marlin received his bachelor’s degree in political science and Slavic languages and literature from Northwestern University. After completing his undergraduate studies in 2008, he was a paralegal in Chicago for four years.
Edelstein, who is from Milwaukee, received her bachelor’s degree in personal finance and Hebrew, and a certificate in Jewish studies, from UW–Madison in 2013. She and Marlin met shortly thereafter, while he was attending the La Follette School.
Marlin has volunteered to speak with prospective and new students several times since graduating from the La Follette School. He and Edelstein also were members of the winning team – the Elder Belles – at the first La Follette School Student Association Trivia Fundraiser in March 2017
