News: undergraduates

Due to exceptionally high interest in its Undergraduate Certificate in Public Policy program, the La Follette School will offer seven undergraduate classes in fall 2020 – the most in School history.

Two La Follette School students, Laura Downer and Jacob Pankratz, won election to Associated Students of Madison (ASM), the official student government of the University of Wisconsin–Madison in March. Downer, ASM’s current Student Council chair, and Pankratz will serve as graduate student representatives for the 2020-21 academic year.

The La Follette School of Public Affairs’ first summer public policy course will examine inequalities across various social dimensions with a focus on disparities among racial and ethnic groups.
