The Tommy G. Thompson Center on Public Leadership has named Eric Tempelis (MPA ’03, JD ’06) as its new assistant director. He previously worked in local, state and federal government, most recently as a prosecutor.
The Tommy G. Thompson Center on Public Leadership at UW–Madison has several events scheduled across the state in the next several weeks. The first event features Michael Murphy, who will discuss the state of contemporary politics in the United States, on Friday, March 29 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Fluno Center.
The Wisconsin Ideas Conference is back for its second year, bringing students interested in government and public policy a unique opportunity to publish and refine their ideas, participate in lively discussions, and earn scholarships. Applications for the conference, April 12–14 at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, are due Saturday, January 26 at 11:59 p.m. (CST).
