Orientation events set

The La Follette School class of 2016 will gather for orientation on Thursday, August 28.

The faces of three new Wisconsin legislators will go on the La Follette School conference room wall after they complete the Bowhay Institute of Legislative Leadership Development that meets August 8-11 at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Great group expected at picnic July 24

Alumni, friends, students, faculty and staff are invited to the La Follette School on Thursday, July 24, for the annual Hill Fest picnic. The event is held on the beautiful La Follette School grounds overlooking Lake Mendota at 1225 Observatory Drive.

Thirty-one prospective students gathered April 7 to learn more about the La Follette School during the school's annual Visit Day. Visitors came from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Indiana, New York, Washington, D.C., and Belgium.

College honors Treleven for advising

Admissions and academic services coordinator Mary Treleven will receive an Academic Advising Award from the University of Wisconsin–Madison's College of Letters and Science at a reception on Thursday, May 1.
The La Follette School is pleased to welcome 2005 alum Hilary Shager as the new associate director.
Twenty-one women took part in the 14th annual leadership training seminar sponsored by Wisconsin Women in Government and the La Follette School of Public Affairs.
