Singletary advises on utility issues

As a rate analyst and policy advisor for the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin's Division of Gas and Energy, Corey Singletary works primarily on electric and gas and utility issues related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, and smart grid technologies.

Prospective students admitted to the La Follette School for fall 2011 will hear from faculty and current students on Monday, March 28, in Grainger Hall.

Funeral services for alum Darin Renner, age 40, were November 6. He died unexpectedly November 1 at Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
Federal health-care reform, poverty in Wisconsin, and voting procedures are topics explored in the spring 2011 La Follette Policy Report just released by the La Follette School of Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Articles in the Wall Street Journal and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel have included comments from international finance expert professor Menzie Chinn, whose Econbrowser blog was ranked in the top 25 financial blogs by Time.com.
More than 50 alumni and friends are expected to join La Follette School faculty, staff and students at the annual Madison reception on Thursday, February 3. Forty students will be sitting down with 13 alumni and friends of the La Follette School to practice their interviewing skills as part of the professional development workshop.

Students to visit to audit bureau Friday

Students will visit the Legislative Audit Bureau on Friday, November 12, to learn more about entry-level positions and what students can do to prepare themselves for the job market.
