Students to discuss internships Wednesday

Four students will discuss their internship experiences Wednesday, October 12, starting at 12:20 p.m. in the La Follette School's conference room. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunches.

The speakers will be:

  • Nicki Thiher spent the summer with the Observer Research Foundation in Delhi, India, studying oil security along ocean trade routes and China's strategies to reduce its maritime oil trade risk exposure.
  • Justin Rabbach interned with the U.S. State Department in Honduras.
  • Susanna Rassmussen interned at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, reporting to the assistant finance officer as a budget analyst intern.
  • Carly Hood did budget and policy analysis on food safety and recreational licensing program at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
