Students Troy Hoppenjan and Ben Nerad will discuss their internships this summer at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, in the La Follette School conference room.
Nerad worked at the Center on Wisconsin Strategy on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. He earlier worked for the Wisconsin Council on Children and Families, Thrive, the Wisconsin Assembly, the Wisconsin Senate, the Wisconsin Governor's Office, the Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee and the Goodman Community Center.
Hoppenjan worked in Uganda as a fellow with HELP International, a nonprofit organization that empowers people around the world to fight global poverty through sustainable, life-changing development programs. He coordinated development projects and built partnerships as part of his work.
Wednesday's session is the third the La Follette School Student Association has organized this year.
