La Follette School student Britt Cudaback is one of four candidates seeking to represent District 6 on the Dane County Board of Supervisors. Originally from Nebraska, she is one of four candidates facing off in the February 20 primary election.
Cudaback, who is pursuing dual law and public affairs degrees, serves as chief of staff for State Rep. Melissa Sargent and as a member of Madison’s Affirmative Action Committee. She also is a board member of the New Leaders Council-Wisconsin and a member of the Wisconsin Council on Mental Health’s Legislative and Policy Affairs Committee.
“If I’m going to expect my party and my community to invest in new leaders, I ought to be the first to raise my hand and put my name on the ballot,” she said in a recent Isthmus article.
Cudaback has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska in Kearney.
