Department administrator applicants sought

The La Follette School of Public Affairs is seeking candidates for its department administrator position. July 12 is the deadline for applications.

This is a high-level administrative and programmatic position, with the person overseeing the School's administrative team, including three university staff members. The team is responsible for the School's operations, carrying out all human resources, payroll, budgetary, financial, and other administrative functions.

Katie Lorenze (MIPA '14) is leaving her position as the School's administrator and career services coordinator in August and moving out of state for family reasons.

"It has been an honor and a privilege returning to the La Follette School as a staff member," Lorenze said in announcing her departure. "Know that you can still count on me as a fellow 'Bob,' one of many in the mighty legion of La Follette alumni around the world."

In May, the La Follette School received a generous $10 million donation from Herb Kohl Philanthropies, which will allow the School to expand its outreach mission and launch its Undergraduate Certificate in Public Policy. During this exciting time of growth, the administrator will play a key role in helping the School build administrative capacity and scale operations.

The detailed position vacancy listing (PVL# 99356) is on UW-Madison's website. For more information, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Associate Director Steve Kulig (MPA '14).
