Chinn to discuss U.S. macroeconomic outlook

Economist Menzie Chinn will give a talk on the U.S. macroeconomic outlook on Friday, December 6, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Pyle Center.

Chinn will discuss the impact of U.S. monetary and fiscal policies on global financial markets and economic developments. The ramifications of prolonged fiscal impasse and debt ceiling brinksmanship on the dollar's central role will be of central focus.

His talk is part of the Wisconsin Alumni Association's Global Hot Spots lecture series.
