The La Follette School of Public Affairs is hosting a reception for alumni, friends, faculty, students, and staff Thursday, November 2 at Club Quarters, 75 East Wacker Drive. Earlier that day, a group of students will participate in the La Follette in Chicago career development program.
Students participating in the two-day career development program will visit public and private sector organizations working on domestic and international policy issues. With financial support from La Follette School alumni, students will get a glimpse of the high-impact work happening in Chicago and have the opportunity to network with alumni and friends.
“We are extremely grateful to the La Follette family of alumni and friends who support our students through mentoring, job-search assistance, and financial contributions,” said La Follette School Director Don Moynihan. “More than 100 alumni and friends of the La Follette School live in the Chicago area, and we hope to see many of them at the reception.”
The La Follette School also is hosting a reception Friday, November 3 during the Association of Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) conference at the Hyatt Regency, 151 East Wacker Drive.
