The La Follette School of Public Affairs is seeking a full-time career services coordinator for its student services team. Applications are due Friday, July 26.
With support from the Kohl Initiative, this new position will manage career planning for all master’s-level students and alumni, assisting with their unique needs based on where they are in the career development process and acquainting them with job search resources.
It also will plan employer visits, oversee summer internships, provide administrative assistance for the School’s academic degree programs and certificate programs, and work with the School’s outreach team to provide career programs.
Another key component of this position involves building relationships with prospective employers, alumni, and campus partners. A bachelor’s degree with one year of experience in public affairs or career development is required; a graduate degree is preferred.
