Alumni to meet in Chicago at Feb. 15 reception

Alumni in the Chicago area will gather for casual conversation, drinks and hors d'oeuvres on Wednesday, February 15, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the downtown offices of Congress for the New Urbanism where 1988 alum John Norquist is executive director. The offices are in suite 404 of 140 S. Dearborn Street.

Director Tom DeLeire and at least nine students are planning to go to Chicago for the reception. Staff members Terry Shelton, Bridget Pirsch and Karen Faster also plan to attend. They all look forward to talking with alumni. Alumni from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s have said they will attend.

The free social gathering is open to all alumni and friends of the school, so anyone visiting Chicago is welcome to stop by. The event is made possible by donations from alumni and friends to the La Follette School via the University of Wisconsin Foundation. RSVPs are encouraged but not required.
