The La Follette School of Public Affairs welcomed two alumni to its Board of Visitors – Theola Carter (MA ’91) and Carolyn Hill (MA ’96).
Carter is manager of the Policy and Program Improvement team in Dane County’s Tamara D. Grigsby Office for Equity and Inclusion, and Hill is a senior fellow at MDRC, a nonprofit, nonpartisan education and social policy research organization.
“We’re so thrilled to have two more alumni join our board,” said Director and Professor Susan Webb Yackee. “Their guidance will be integral during this exciting time of expansion for the La Follette School.”
Carter, who grew up in Beloit, is an active community member with several local nonprofit organizations. Hill previously served as a tenured associate professor of public policy at Georgetown University.
Meanwhile, Carolyn Heinrich resigned from the Board of Visitors as she moves into a more administrative role at Vanderbilt University.
