1999 grad Tim Casper is the new executive assistant the Wisconsin's Department of Administration. "Tim brings a wealth of experience in public policy and administration to the job and will be a valuable asset to DOA as we continue our work to focus on priorities like education, health care and economic development," Secretary Michael Morgan said in appointing him.
Casper most recently served as the senior policy director for Governor Jim Doyle. He has worked in various public policy positions for the governor since 2003, focusing on the budget, the Grow Wisconsin economic development initiative, education issues and health care expansion efforts like BadgerCare. He previously worked in the Department of Health and Family Services, the Legislature and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. he graduated from the La Follette School in 1999.
