1999 alum Tim Casper, assistant vice president for budget and public affairs at Madison Area Technical College, will open the La Follette School's fall Policy and a Pint series on Tuesday, October 29, at 5:30 p.m. at Brocach, 1843 Monroe Street.
These informal gatherings are a great opportunity for networking and hearing from alumni and others about their career trajectories, jobs, current issues and policy insights. The La Follette School provides some snacks, while guests buy their own beverages.
All of the Policy and a Pint events are on Tuesdays at Brocach from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The first one is at the Brocach at 1843 Monroe Street. The rest are on the second floor of 7 West Main Street on the Square.

November 19 – Public affairs writer in residence Riva Froymovich of The Economist, Brocach, 7 West Main Street. She is the author of "End of The Good Life: How the Financial Crisis Threatens a Lost Generation - and What We Can Do About It," which chronicles the impact of the latest financial crisis on Generation Y and promotes innovative reforms in education, employment and public policy.
