Alum Farha Tahir will Skype in from Washington, D.C., to discuss international jobs with La Follette School students at noon on Tuesday, February 19, in the La Follette School conference room.
Tahir will describe her job as a program coordinator and research associate for the Africa Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. She graduated in 2010 with a Master of International Public Affairs degree.
"Farha will discuss her current job and offer advice to Bobs as they start their job and internship search," says organizer Steve Kulig, the La Follette School Student Association alumni liaison who organized the session. "I encourage both MIPAs and MPAs to attend to get a unique perspective of life after graduation. Farha was a hit during her last Skype session with Bobs last March."
