I absolutely LOVED this experience. I was able to meet other interns and get some insight into what it would look like to work in government in the future. This solidified my passion of working in government. I was surprised how much work goes into connecting with constituents, and I was surprised at how realistic the show Parks and Rec is. I would certainly recommend this for anyone considering government as a career path, and there are so many different internship opportunities within the state capitol!
