This summer I was a part of the 2024 Cohort of interns for Molina Healthcare. Molina healthcare is a fortune 500 multi-state healthcare organization where I had the opportunity to serve as the Growth and Community Engagement intern. Throughout my 10 weeks at Molina, I got to work closely with the government affairs team where I learned lessons not only applicable in healthcare but are also valuable in any role that involves complex problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and navigating regulatory environments. I learned how to navigate complex intersections of policy and healthcare operations, sharpened my problem solving skills, and enhanced my ability to analyze data and communicate findings effectively. Moving forward I am confident that these experiences will enable me to contribute effectively to any team, particularly in roles that require nuanced understanding of policy, strategic problem solving, and clear communication.
