During my internship as a Quality Assurance and Training Intern at Keshet, I learned about the work that Keshet does and its impact on the disability community in the Chicagoland area. My projects included researching policies on Artificial Intelligence and creating a summary of recommendations, contributing to Keshet’s annual data reporting, and interviewing multiple staff members and ultimately leading a presentation on the staff values at Keshet. The skills I have been learning at La Follette have been helpful in the research and data analysis that I did this summer. I would absolutely recommend this internship to future students. My supervisors were very welcoming and provided so much guidance, and Keshet is a great organization! This internship was a really valuable experience, and I was able to learn a lot about the legislative advocacy that Keshet contributes to as an organization.
