In his role as Student Status Examiner Senior, David Wright-Racette coordinates the admissions process for the La Follette School's graduate programs by counseling applicants on admissions requirements, manages and coordinates the department’s timetable preparation, and provides administrative assistance to the graduate program. David leads the admissions process for the undergraduate certificate program and advises certificate students. He is also responsible for managing the class registration process and student enrollment.
David earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014. During his tenure as an undergraduate student at UW, David interned for two years in the Wisconsin State Senate and after graduation he joined Wisconsin Farmers Union as their Policy Organizer with a focus on farm and rural policy. He grew up on a farm in northwest Wisconsin and enjoys cooking, camping, and cycling. He joined the La Follette School as a student services associate in February 2017.
