About the scholarship

Benefits

  • Opportunities for internships and employment with the federal government

Requirements

Applicants must

  • be a junior with one more year of full-time undergraduate study after 2024-25, or a third year student graduating in May or August of 2025
  • be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national from American Samoa, or expecting U.S. citizenship by the date of the award. (Permanent residents are unfortunately not eligible.)
  • be committed to a career in government or elsewhere in public service
  • be nominated by UW-Madison
