NYSTRS is the second-largest retirement systems in the state and one of the 10-largest public pension funds in the nation. The System administrates a defined benefit plan that provides retirement, disability, and death benefits to eligible NYS public school teachers and administrators. Our active and retired membership exceeds 442,000 and annual pension payments are approximately $8 billion. During this event, attendees will gain insight into the various career paths available to candidates within departments including accounting, finance, diversity, equity and inclusion, training and development, communications, human resources, information technology, legal, budget, and more. Additionally, we will share about unique employment opportunities including our internship and fellowship programs.
