Wisconsin Legislative Reference Bureau visit
February 15 — 2:15 pm to 3:30 pm
La Follette School graduate and undergraduate students can meet alumni working at the Wisconsin Legislative Reference Bureau (LRB).
Marie Koko will meet registrants in the lobby at 1 E. Main Street (beside Square Wine) at 2:15 sharp. Late arrivals can take the elevator up to the second floor. The LRB will be just outside of the elevator doors. Let the front desk know you have arrived, and they will take you to the meeting.
Alumni at the visit
Madeline Kasper is a managing legislative analyst at the Legislative Reference Bureau. She graduated with an MPA and MPH from the La Follette School of Public Affairs and the UW School of Medicine and Public Health in 2016. Prior to that, she worked for a national elder abuse advocacy organization. Her policy areas of focus include health, insurance, transportation, and trade regulation. She also specializes in legislative practice and procedure.
Ryan LeCloux is a Legislative Analyst at the Legislative Reference Bureau, where he primarily conducts research on environmental, energy, agricultural, and labor policy issues. He received his MIPA from the La Follette School in 2018 and has worked at the LRB since then. While attending La Follette, Ryan interned for a small education non-profit organization in India and prior to attending La Follette he worked for an international development and public policy research organization in Washington, DC, and was an English teacher in Seoul, South Korea.
