La Follette School Graduate Student Graduation
May 14 — 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

In addition to UW–Madison’s Commencement ceremonies, the La Follette School will celebrate graduating MPA and MIPA students during a ceremony in the Assembly Chambers of the State Capitol building.
The La Follette School Student Association (LSSA) coordinates the ceremony, and students select the student speaker, faculty speaker, and commencement speaker.
Each graduate receives a certificate from the La Follette School, and faculty present awards to top students.
Attendees are welcome to join us after for the reception, which will take place at the Monona Terrace. Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided.

- Student speaker: Liliana Keomanivong Teniente, graduating MPA student
- Faculty speaker: Mark Copelovitch, Professor of public affairs and political science
- Keynote speaker: Francesca Hong, Representative, Wisconsin State Assembly
