Each federal agency and many state agencies have international departments within them. There are also numerous NGOs and nonprofits that seek public policy students. The majority of these organizations use the job boards compiled below; however, many of the larger intergovernmental organizations (UN organizations, World Bank, IMF, WIPO, etc.) use their own hiring systems. Additionally, the private sector is a major employer of international policy students. Most major companies (consulting, business, marketing, law, etc.) have departments focusing on international relations and regulations.
