Elevating Equity in Policymaking: A Conversation with Theola Carter

Theola Carter (MA '91) has more than 28 years of state and county service in Wisconsin. She received her bachelor's degree Fisk University and her master's from the La Follette School. For the past three years, Carter has served as a manager of policy and program improvement with the Dane County Tamara D. Grigsby Office of Equity and Inclusion. She also is a member of the La Follette School's Board of Visitors.

This event is for current La Follette School students only. Students will receive an email with details on how to register.

After a short discussion about her career, Theola will answer questions from students during a 30-minute Q&A session. Please submit questions in advance via the registration form on the email message. Cartecia Lawrence, a student in the La Follette School's MPA program, will moderate the discussion.
