Exploring Milwaukee Public Library Partnership Opportunities

This report examines the role that public and academic library partnerships can play in meeting the needs of Milwaukee Public Library's existing patrons, as well as drawing in a more diverse population of users. Examples of successful library partnership models from across the U.S. are considered to help inform the analysis. This report includes a recommendation for Milwaukee Public Library to institute a strong service-learning program in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Marquette University, and Madison Area Technical College.
